*You will need to save 20 pictures of your choice (school appropriate). Control+Click--Scroll to Save Image As
*Create a new event in Imovie and call it Choice Trailer
*Create your trailer
*Export as a File and name it your name and filming vocab
*Upload it to Dropbox in the Choice Trailer
Project 3: Create an Imovie Trailer using pictures and titles that represent filming vocabulary.
*You will need to save 2 - 3 pictures for each vocab term

*Create a new event in Imovie and call it Filming Vocab
*Create your trailer
*Export as a File and name it your name and filming vocab

Project 6: Hispanic Heritage Month
Create an Imovie Movie and upload to Dropbox

*Choose a famous Hispanic Person.
*Save pictures of that person and 5 Facts
*Create an Imovie Movie
*Put Titles in it
*Put a song in using bensound.com
*Upload to Dropbox in the Black History Month Folder
*Project 7: Stop Motion Animation with Green Screen
Create an Imovie Movie and upload to Dropbox
*Please watch the tutorial on Stop Motion Animation
*Choose a toy that you will animate
*Create a very short story that the toy will act out
*Get an Ipad and a Green Screen box and take A LOT of pictures!
*Watch this video on how to Green Screen
*Connect your Ipad to your computer using a cable

*Import your pictures into Imovie
*Create an Imovie Movie
*Green Screen a background for your animation
*Put Titles in it
*Put a song in using bensound.com
Project 8: Film an Intro and Outro for Bison Beat
*Watch the video below Password: vp
*Create a Flixpress for the Bison Beat saying "You are watching the Bison Beat."
*Download the Flixpress
*Create a 2nd Flixpress that says, "Thank you for watching the Bison Beat."
*Download the 2nd Flixpress
*Get an Ipad and a film a student or teacher saying "You are watching the Bison Beat" and "Thanks for watching the Bison Beat".
*Please do not go to the other Exploratory classrooms.
*Create an Imovie Movie
*Connect your Ipad to your computer using a cable
(please put the cable back when finished.)
*Import your videos into Imovie
*Import your Flixpress and put it at the beginning of your movie
*Put your first video intro after the Flixpress
*Put your outro in next.
*Import your 2nd Flixpress and put at the end .
*Share as a file
*Upload to Dropbox in the Intro/Outro folder.
Project 9: Lunch Animoto
*Create an Animoto account at www.animoto.com
*Sign up for a lunch
*Download 5 pictures of your lunch item
*Create an Animoto
*Download the Animoto
*Put in lunch folder
Project 10: Interview with Cutaway Shot
*Watch this video on cutaway shots
Watch this video on how to edit a cutaway shot in Imovie.
*Take an Ipad and interview someone. Ask them to name their favorite (sports team, movie, song, etc) and why.
*Please do not go to the other Exploratory classrooms.
*Create an Imovie Movie
*Connect your Ipad to your computer using a cable
(please put the cable back when finished.)
*Import your videos into Imovie
*Download 3 pictures of whatever the person named as their favorite
*Insert cutaway shots into the video
*Share as a file
*Upload to Dropbox in the Interview with Cutaway Shots folder
Project 11: Create an Animoto or Imovie Movie for Earth Day
Please use the following links for copyright free photos. Do not use the picture if has a watermark or it is under 300 X 300.
Project 12: Earth Day Video
Choose a topic for Earth Day to inform your audience about an Earth Day subject.
You can choose a variety of topics such as energy consumption, alternative transportation, recycling, volunteer opportunities and endangered animals.
Please watch the video below as an example.
1. Research a topic for Earth Day and gather 20 facts. Put the facts in a Google Doc.
2. Write a list of questions your documentary will address.
3. Complete the Script Template and have Ms. Culhane review it before you proceed.

4. Create a script for a news reporter about your topic.
*The script will need to have an opening or a hook that catches the audience's attention.
*Information about the topic.
*Why should your audience should care about the topic and a conclusion.
Watch the videos below for ideas on how to create a hook.
5. Storyboard your script and decide what you will film, what your reporter will say and what cutaway shots you will need.
